So the two agree on education being one of the most important issues and also on the goal in education itself, which I hope we will get to hear more about. I couldn’t help but notice Rousseau’s “Emile” on the shelf in the background. Will the questions he raises (whatever we might think about his answers) about what it means to educate and why we do it be part of these candidates’ agendas for education?
